Why choose uPVC

Easy to live with

No painting or treating — uPVC frames just need an occasional wipe down.

Warm

Multi-chambered frames trap air and, with double or triple glazing, help cut heat loss and energy bills.

Secure

Reinforced frames, multi-point locking and toughened or laminated glass.

Styles and colours

White, cream, greys and woodgrain finishes, with chamfered, sculptured or flush sash profiles to suit modern or traditional homes.

Recyclable

PVC-U can be recycled several times without losing quality, and Eurocell offers a version made with post-consumer recycled material.

Good value

uPVC gives excellent performance for the money, especially across a whole house of windows.

uPVC questions

Is uPVC or timber better?

uPVC is low maintenance and good value; timber suits period homes and conservation areas and can be refinished for decades. Many customers mix the two — timber at the front, uPVC at the back. We install both, so we can give you a straight answer for your house.

Can uPVC look traditional?

Yes. Sculptured ovolo profiles, flush sashes, mock horns, woodgrain foils and heritage colours give uPVC a traditional look.

Should I choose double or triple glazing?

Double glazing suits most homes. Triple glazing improves U-values further (from around 0.8 W/m²K on Eurocell Logik) and can help on cold or noisy elevations.

Planning new uPVC windows or doors?

Send us a few details — the property, what you'd like replaced or added, and any photos — and we'll come back to you to arrange a survey and quotation.
